About

What Is Women's Encounter?

Women’s Encounter can be described as a weekend where women encounter Christ in ways that are perhaps new or long-since felt. Through teaching, testimonies, and worship we’ll dive deep into what it means to be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.

You’ll learn more about yourself, the body of believers around you, and most importantly, the God who created you. Get to know the sisters you have in the Lord and the community that awaits you. Whether your relationship is new or old, this weekend will be a blessing.

What People Say?

Before I attended Encounter, I thought that carrying around the weight of my past was just part of life as a Christian. I returned with a heart that felt 50 pounds lighter! I had been to conferences and retreats before and always came away "convicted" and with more stuff to add to my guilt-induced to-do list. I came away from Encounter transformed and free. This ministry has changed the way I see God, others, and myself. You deserve to have this amazing experience!

This was the best experience I have ever had. I knew my Lord and Savior, but this weekend took it to a much deeper level of relationship with my Heavenly Father. It is truly God working in my life, my marriage, motherhood, and every other aspect of my future. I was able to let go of my past....which allowed me to experience "True Freedom"! I am very excited for the upcoming encounter!

I have been a Christian for 10 years almost but leaving behind my past, I had set up all of these self-made rules. At Encounter I realized I had become so imprisoned by these standards that were not from God, that set me up for failure, that made me judge and condemn others. I had been set free but had built my own yoke of slavery. No more! I have learned that when it comes to doing the Christian disciplines of prayer, meeting with believers, teaching your children, reading the Word, etc, that motivation matters. He doesn't want our good works or sacrifices, He wants our heart

Before my first encounter, I carried around so much baggage in my life and tried everything I could to get rid of it. I had no self-esteem and I felt worthless. I put on a good front and acted like I had it all together. Even on the way to my encounter, I wanted to look like everything was fine. That was until I truly encountered God! He showed me that I didn't need to carry everything on my shoulders, and that I wasn't the only one who didn't always have it all together. I have found true freedom and as I keep going back to encounters, God continues to meet me there and teach me more about my relationship with Him! I refuse to go back to the days before my freedom.
